About this event
Hey, Anita fixed our website! Thank you Anita, well done for piling in on a weekend and getting us going again. I appreciate your help and skills.
. . . and on to another Tuesday ride,
This time we’ll ride north and check out the new bridge at/on/over Lake Samish.
Mark, in a recent email, told us the bridge opened last Friday. I’m eager to pedal across it.
Here’s the route, download it to your phone or bike computer for effortless navigation via RWGPS: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/33535502 (copy & paste into a browser)
We’ll rendezvous at the Edison Elementary School parking lot, 5801 Main Ave, Bow, WA 98232, https://maps.app.goo.gl/TFJ79xvC5ZPHozuj6 with bikes and helmets. Lets ride our own rides at the paces that suit us. E-bikes and manual bikes are welcome.
There are several places for food after our ride. One of which is on the Skagit Ale Trail, TerraMar Brewstillery https://www.terramarcraft.com/ on the north side of town. If you are collecting stamps in your Ale Trail passport, this may be a good opportunity to obtain TerraMar’s stamp if you haven’t already done so.
Another place to eat is The Edison, https://theoldedison.com/ on the southwest corner of town.
Sign up for this ride online. We are required to have a Waiver of Liability for each rider on our club rides. Signing up online will bring you to the Wavier of Liability form. Follow the prompts and presto, you’re legal and we don’t get haranguing letters from our insurance provider. Win win.
If you like what you’ve experienced, please join the club to continue riding with us. At $30/yr, it’s very good value for money. Included is all the fresh air you can breathe :)
Details for each week’s ride will be sent out via Rider Quick Alert a few days before the ride.
