2024 ANACORTES OPEN STREETS EVENT

(Old Town Anacortes- Commercial Ave- 1st thru 10th Streets)
Always a beautiful day, 2024 ANACORTES OPEN STREETS is the 11th annual event to be held Sunday, August 25 from 11 AM to 3 PM. Old Town Anacortes is closed to traffic so the 2500-3000 Skagit local visitors of all ages and many, many families and kids can enjoy cycling/walking/skateboarding/rollerblading the streets among many exciting exhibits and activities. SBC is a key participant and supports 4 other exhibits and activities.

The participants SBC supports, each providing visitors with interesting information and fun activity:
-SBC BOOTH- Promotes the Spring Classic & membership. Additionally, SBC pro-vides FREE “Kids Ped-A-Cab” rides and an SBC KIDS BIKE PARADE @ 1 PM.
-SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL- KIDS BIKE DECORATING; Kids bike safe-ty course ; Free bikes for kids to ride
`-BAKERVIEW BMX- Booth and riders demonstrating BMX biking skills.
-SKAGIT SPECIAL OLYMPICS-Special Olympics athletes supported for many years by SBC

Additionally, BUSKER FEST provides a variety of street entertainment and of course local restaurants supply good food and drink for all
