SBC Member RIDER ALERT Quick Notice

Nov 20th Open House on Centennial Trail Phase One ...
Author Last Post

Marie Erbstoeszer attended the Open House and took the attached photo of the Intro Photo which shows the project timeline. It looks like necessary funding has not been secured; the current design efforts will be used to seek grants.

Marie asked Brian Adams, Director of Skagit County Parks and Recreation, if the materials displayed at the Open House regarding the trail design would be available online. He said he would have to ask the Consultants for the RRM Design Group and also Skagit County technical staff. So at this point there is no definite answer to that question.

Marie reports that the much larger displays and posters were also really informative and described the trail layout. At the Open House, attendees were asked to provide comments via sticky notes if they had suggestions or questions or concerns about aspects of the Phase One Design.

We will post more information as it becomes available.

Hi, Mark. Short answer- I don't know. I received the Press Release and shared it, but don't have more details. I looked at the Parks & Rec website, but found no additional info.

I will be in the same SBC-related Zoom meeting with you, and can't attend the Open House either. Maybe someone who attends can share details here.

Julie

Hi Julie!

I won't be able to attend due to participation in an SBC-related Zoom meeting. Will the materials regarding the trail be available online at some point?

Also...will the proposal discuss funding of the project?

Thanks,

Mark
