This week we’ll ride east, cross the river in downtown Mount Vernon and head south. We pedal over the freeway on Blackburn Road and head south on Blodgett Road. Working our way to Conway and Polson Road back to LaConner for a bite to eat at The Firehall Kitchen & Taphouse. (I’ve got my mind set on a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, just like the one Mary had last time at the Firehall.)

Does the route look just a trifle long to you? Simply lop off a few miles by not crossing the freeway, rather head south on Dike Road instead of Blodgett.
