Right up front, let me say this ride probably won’t appeal to very many people.
In fact, perhaps no people.
That mentioned, the route leaves Edison Elementary School, 5801 Main Ave, Bow, WA 98232. Ride north on Chuckanut and the Interurban trail to Arroyo Park in south Bellingham. A simple 180 then back down Chuckanut.

I’m curious to see what the rockslide scar looks like. Secondly, the last time I rode the Interurban trail was years ago on horseback, so would like to see what’s new there.
Be forewarned, expect a narrow road, hills and 4-5 miles of non-paved surfaces.
Great route for hi-vis, lights and mirrors. May as well toss in a bike helmet too.
Pedal your pace, but my recommendation is to error on the faster side. Please don't casually wander left and right in the lane, rather, ride a straight line.
After ride food can be enjoyed at a few places in Edison. Parking at the school relieves the feeling of needing to patronize an establishment simply beause we utilized their parking area.
