DAY EXPLORING THE NEWEST BIKE PATHS OF EASTSIDE SEATTLE
JOIN US FOR THIS SPECIAL RIDE EVENT: An opportunity to explore the newest and best bike paths and routes of Eastside Seattle with my local experienced ride leader friends, Ernie & Sheila Grillo. Much has been accomplished to connect cycling from the Eastside to Seattle and surrounding communities. It has resulted in an amazing network and an interesting cycling experience.
This will be a 25-mile social pace “stick together” ride for 12 max riders, departing from Marymore Park in the East Parking lot (A Google Maps link will be sent to each registered participant). We will begin riding at 10 am, and we suggest you allow at least 2 hours to drive, park, and get ready to ride. All but about 1 mile is on a hard surface bike path, so no special tires needed.
We will have lunch at Pomegranate Restaurant afterward, and then the option to take an additional special 1-hour “out and back” ride will be offered for those who do not depart for home.
No RWGPS needed and we should have reference maps for you to keep for future use.
This will be an all day adventure that we are sure you will greatly enjoy. Sign up like a regular ride, so I know you plan to ride that day and can send you the Map Link for directions.
