Late posting, my bad. Kathy and I came back from the Olympic Peninsula yesterday ( I rode the Hurricane) and I didn’t get around to giving you folks details for this Tuesday’s ride. Apologies, but here they are now.

Let’s meet up in downtown Mount Vernon, near the River Front Sculpture: https://maps.app.goo.gl/FK6L5buYoZDLWPJv8

Download our route to your device here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/49614529

You are welcome to print a paper map if this suits you, that link is below.

After ride food can be enjoyed at many downtown eateries.

Two such spots happen to be on the Skagit Ale Trail: District Brewing and Temperate Habits. Learn about the Skagit Ale Trail at https://skagitfarmtopint.com Both establishments serve NA beverages in addition to their own custom alcoholic brews. It’s nice to support these local businesses that add interest to our community.

Summer time has been seeing larger groups on these Tuesday rides. It may be best to spread out and not expect one restaurant to accommodate all of us. As fun as it is to all congregate at the same place, it's taxing on kitchen and wait staff.

All riders are welcome. Ride your own ride, simply stay on the designated route. Faster riders pull ahead, less fast riders have fun riding the ride you want to ride. We can all have fun.

Helmets are always required on Skagit Bicycle Club rides. Mirrors sure are handy. Being seen rather than hit is everything (in my book anyway), thus, I’m a believer in hi-vis and lights.

As always lets ride safely and considerately. Maintain control of our bikes, be aware of where we are in space. Keep the rubber sides down.

Hope to see you tomorrow,

John
