COME VISIT AND PARTICIPATE
Hello SBC Members:
Anacortes OPEN STREETS is Sunday, August 24, from 11 AM to 3 PM, located in Old Town Anacortes on Commercial Ave- 3rd St to 11th Street. The streets are closed to all vehicles for “non-motorized” activity only (WALK/ BIKE/ SKATEBOARD/ RAZOR/SCOOTER/??) There are interesting booths, music, and activities for everyone: families, kids, & adults. We encourage you to attend with the many other visitors, and bring your friends and family!
SBC has been a participant for 13 years and will again be located on the intersection of 5th and Commercial.
WE SEEK VOLUNTEERS FOR 1-HOUR SHIFTS BETWEEN 11 AM AND 3 PM FOR:
-SBC Booth: Promote the Spring Classic and New Members: 2 members for 1 hour shifts. 11 AM TO 3 PM.
-SBC Pedicab rides for kids- 30-ish minute ride duty shifts- 11:30 AM to 3 PM.
-Bike decorating for kids- 3 people / 1 hour shift to man 3 “bike decorating stations”: Help kids & parents decorate bikes: 11:30 AM TO 2:30 PM.
-Kids Bike Parade at 1:30 PM- No volunteers needed
