Hill Climber from Fir Island to Big Lake on Sat 8/10 at 8:30 am
About this event
All are welcome, but for the non-ebiker this is a good hilly moderate training ride of approx 20 miles with 775 feet of climbing. This will help get you ready for riding on the islands (stay tuned). We will stop to regroup (and rest) several times. Start time is early to avoid busy traffic. Start at parking lot near Fir-Conway Luth Church/Conway Bridge and ride 10 miles up Hwy 534/Hwy 9 to Lake McMurray/Big Lake and back. I will have paper sign up sheet and maps for any who can't sign up online. Just to be sure you are aware - there will be hills on this ride! Other than that it is a beautiful ride.
