Join us on a Rails to Trails adventure as we ride the crushed rock former rail bed of the Great Northern Railway. This is a beautiful ride with plenty of nature and even a heard of buffalo to take in.

We will start the ride from the Concrete Community Center and ride to Lyman and return. Our end of ride food stop will be at the 5b's Bakery, 45597 Main Street Concrete, WA 98237 https://5bsbakery.com The bakery is worth the ride!

This will be an easy to social pace (10-13 mph) ride. The trail is crushed rock/gravel. Please make sure you have a good flat repair kit/tube with you. There are no services on the trail so make sure you have enough water and munchies to meet your needs.

We will need to be on the North Cascade Highway for a very short distance just prior to the Baker Lake Road and we will cross the highway at another point. Additionally, there are driveways and side roads that intersect the trail that riders will have to watch for. We will discuss this at the start of the ride.

Please leave the parking spots closest to the Community Center entrance for Concrete residents.

Download it to your preferred device to navigate with RWGPS. Helmets are required. Mirrors, hi-vis and lights are recommended. Let’s play it safe and watch out for each other and ourselves. Watch for motor vehicles and distracted drivers. This is a mixed-use trail that can be used by horsemen.
