This is usually the hardest of the “sweeps” as heavy winter debris has accumulated. We have asked WSDOT to again pre-sweep the adjacent roadside and scuppers and (hopefully) the West End ramp. This has been hugely helpful.
WE NEED YOU AS A VOLUNTEER! Everyone welcome. Many hands make this event a fun social activity that is completed in about 1 1/2 hrs. REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER FOR THIS EVENT JUST LIKE A BIKE RIDE.
As an incentive, there will be coffee donated by Moka Joe’s and some home baked treats after we’re done.
Post-sweep, please join us for an optional social gathering at Bastion Brewing.
As always, you are welcome to bring your favorite broom or flat-blade shovel. However, SBC has a good number that will be provided. Work gloves are always a good idea.

-Wheelbarrows - 6 total- We have 4…need 2 more!
-Powerful Leaf Blowers- 2 total – we have one, need another
- String trimmer – 2 total – still need both
