What is this?
Tuesday’s Social Ride will depart from the street side of Thrive Fitness, 1609 R Ave. off Seafarer’s Way.

The route travels through downtown then west uptown, and south via the South Hill Trail, around Grandview Cemetery and the southern edge of the city via Spradley Rd., and then again north via M Ave. to 34th and 35th Sts. to the Tommy Thompson Trail (1, below) and around March’s Point (2, below). The ride will continue through Whitmarsh, the Swinomish Casino, and Padilla Heights. Then onto Stevenson Rd. to Reservation Road, the Trestle and the Tommy Thompson Trail with a return to Thrive.

The entire route is about 27 miles with about a 500 ft. elevation gain. For those seeking a shorter ride back to Thrive, good exit points via the Tommy Thompson Trail are 35th St. (1)(approximately 10 miles round trip), and March’s Point (2) (approximately 18 miles).

Ride Leader Walt Farmer
Social gathering afterward at location TBD
